I’m a little terrified for Sans in Deltarune.

Susie confirms that everyone in the Deltarune universe bleeds, on two separate occasions where she talks to Lancer.

There is no talk of monsters turning to dust when they die.

If Sans was originally from Deltarune’s timeline, that would explain why he bleeds if you kill him in Undertale’s Genocide route. He supposedly turns to dust afterwards, but he does it off-screen, so we don’t know for sure.

HOWEVER… if you kill Papyrus in Undertale, he doesn’t bleed. He just turns to dust.

… Guys. What if… what if Sans escapes Deltarune’s timeline when it gets destroyed… but the Papyrus of that timeline doesn’t? What if the Papyrus we meet in Undertale is a different Papyrus altogether?
