Glass blowing Artisan dragon? We proposed doing lady dragons for Spyro but never went through with it. Here was an idea I wanted to flesh out that I never got to do, so now it’s fanart! Haven’t posted progress shots in a while, will post the final latergator. TFB hasn’t given me the go ahead to post my work yet, so here is a consolation prize!

I’ve been putting up some dragon designs over on my Twitter (impossiblesnail)

I really love the particularly unique and unconventional body shapes they played with in the remake and I want to push my own designs to those limits! I feel I got the best results out of the beastmaker personally but I’ll most likely keep experimenting!

I hadn’t seen anyone upload images of these yet, which is a shame because the new designs for the power up abilities in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy are soooooo cool and a delightful surprise. There was one more during the Ripto’s battle for super charge, but I couldn’t fit it in one post.

Cynder Reignited!

 I’m keen to explore what a gang of lady elder dragons might look like, but first things first: Cynder & Sting her dragonfly(esque) best bud, imagined in the style of the Reignited Trilogy.

I’ve been drawing while she plays, and taking her notes about how to adapt Cynder to the reimagined classic games. Lots of fun adapting the Legend stylings to the look we developed at Toys For Bob 🙂

I saw a few interpretations of Elder Dragon Spyro floating around online (and of course the original from the old manual, which I referenced for this piece) and I had to try my hand! Drawing while my wife plays The Reignited Trilogy and having a great time- they’re actually like…really still fun to play :)))
