So we all know about the kinda-confirmed theory that the elf from the end creidts is Runaan’s boyfriend. I’m sure you are all familiar with this image of him:
Notice the two flowers, the sunken one obviously is Runaan and I, and I assume most of you, up to this point assumed that the other one is supposed to represent him.
But I don’t think that’s the case.
We already have confirmation that Runaan raised Rayla, so by extension so did this mystery bf/husband.
I don’t think it makes sense for him to keep a flower representing himself if he doesn’t go on missions.
It’s not him. It’s Rayla.
It’s obvious that if he helped raise Rayla he’s care about her well-being just as much as Runaan’s.
My theory is that he forged these two flowers: one for each member of his family who is leaving on a dangerous mission.

I started drawing this the week TDP was released but I didn’t finish it until now due to me having no time. Based
on the idea that the dragon in the intro of the series might be the wife of
the dragon king and I just wanted to draw them happily as a familly. No
idea if something about them got confirmed, I’m not really up to date.
The kid definitly comes after the father but he has blue eyes so maybe
that works? No idea. However I hope that the orange dragon will play some
greater role in the future.
